Getting married is a daunting thing! And when we are talking about thousands of dollars it can be really confusing to know where to invest those precious dollars. We get it!

Flowers are a luxury product - let’s face it. We are so privileged to be able to grow, cut, design and envelop ourselves in such natural beauty and it does come at a cost - due to many factors such as the sheer amount of time one needs to dedicate to growing flowers - simply that in itself is indeed hours and hours of time.

If we then think about once the flowers are cut, the work that goes into designing a full service wedding is immense. I myself design each wedding from scratch - each wedding is different, and each client has different wants, needs and expectations. This customer service element is one of the most important parts of our business and we put a lot of time into ensuring we deliver on our clients expectations.

Now, it is time for sourcing and purchasing flowers! This element often involves often our entire week leading up to the wedding. We strive to purchase locally grown flowers, which means often visiting many locations during the week leading up to the wedding and picking up flowers that have been lovingly grown and tended to by our incredible growers.

Then, the making of arrangements, installations,bouquets…and transporting it to the venue for setting up! A team of florists is often needed to bring the vision to life, and then we often have to return to the site after hours to clean it all up.

A lot of care and time goes into wedding floristry and our clients absolutely appreciate that. Most full service weddings can cost between $6000 - $10000 upwards and personals only (bouquets, etc) can cost around $2000. We recommend allocating around 15% of your wedding budget to florals, or up to 25-30% if you want flowers to have a big impact and be a feature of your wedding.
