FINE ART FLORALS in Daylesford, Macedon Ranges, Victoria
I recently partnered with Lena Lim to capture all of the beautiful details from a wedding I designed florals for in Daylesford. I knew this wedding was going to be special from the moment the initial enquiry came into my inbox - the brief I received from the bride-to-be aligned perfectly with our style, aesthetic, and business philosophies. When I met up with the gorgeous couple along with the mother of the bride, the connection we all had was instantaneous and I knew we were going to make magic together. Naturally, I wanted to capture this incredibly special day and I knew Lena was the perfect artful storyteller to do so.
Please enjoy these exceptional images from the summer wedding of Josh and Seneca.

For the ceremony, myself and my incredible florist-friend Katie created three striking floral arrangements in concrete style urns. We then created floor pieces to accentuate the aisle and add dimension and depth. These exquisite florals infused the remarkable convent space with an ambiance of grace, warmth, and enchantment. We used green beech foliages, locally grown roses and delphinium, as well as queen anne’s lace, all carefully chosen to provide a tactile and visually captivating experience.
The Lake House Daylesford is one of Australia’s most awarded and romantic boutique hotels, best known for its beautiful lakeside location, two-hatted destination restaurant, award-winning cellar and impeccable service. What a privilege it was to design florals for this incredible space.
The Lake House team are committed to a greener, cleaner planet. Single-use plastics, including hotel amenity bottles, were discontinued early on, they don’t use pesticides on the property they have always collected and recycled rainwater and mineral spa water to water the gardens and to hold in reserve during those devastating drought-stricken periods.
Josh and Seneca wanted to create a dreamy, garden-style feast and to achieve this look we lined each guest table with low florals ‘growing up ’ from the middle of each table, creating a conversation piece for the guests. The florals, all grown here in Victoria, included incredible dahlias, hydrangea, roses, butterfly delphiniums, veronica and lisianthus.
The team bought all the florals across from the Chapel and styled them around the head table creating an intimate and warm ‘sweetheart table’ for Josh and Seneca to enjoy and bask in their wedding love bubble.
At the conclusion of the evening, florals were wrapped in paper and given to guests to take home and enjoy.
